Our Story
Clue Adventures started off in 2016 in Mile End, being run by television whizz and magician Paul Andrews. Paul wanted to take a different approach to escape games: he wanted to make sure to put story first. When designing our games, we emphasized challenge and story, avoiding tropes in order to make the decisions that would create the best rooms possible.
In 2019 Clue Adventures made a move to our current location in Leyton. In 2021, Paul stepped away from the company and leadership was passed on to one of our employees, who has brought a new talented team to keep the adventures alive. Since then, our small-but-growing team has been hard at work continuing to deliver fantastic escape game experiences, while facing the challenges of being a small business in the aftermath of the pandemic.
Our Values
Clue Adventures really strives to stand out by creating games that are fundamentally story-driven. This principle allows us to run games that are both challenging, and flow together in a logical way since they all hinge around a plot that players are immersed in.
We are also able to provide more complex puzzles because players will always have a dedicated host overseeing their game. Our hosts are given extensive, training and know the games very well, so that we can give our players an exciting, often down-to-the-wire, game.
Our Team
Clue Adventures is an independent business ran by a small, dedicated team. We sincerely love escape games - some members of our team have spent years making regular trips to escape games and trying out as many as they can!
We are in this business because we love escape games and want to see them grow. This passion and vision is what helps our team ensure every player has a fun, memorable, and exciting experience!
